My production station, a Netbook XP/SP3 station currently runs a base of 1037Rb81, overlayed with zip update to bring it to 1037S56.
My test system is a clone of the prod system, but only updated to 1037R49.
I’ve used the .zip updates because of prior issues using the ‘new’ WD on older XP Systems, I don’t know if the XP specific bug(s) were fixed.
My questions are, will the ‘full’ update’ eg 1037S65 work as a full update on XP based systems, or must I keep adding the .zip updates? And is the .zip update standalone, or does it include the prior updates available via .zip. I know I can sacrifice the test system, but I’m after a bit of advance info before I cut loose over the next couple of weeks ad do it!
