After a reboot some manual input to WD work properly

Hi,

I’m still testing WD, but so far I’m pleased, but…
I’m planing in doing, some automated reboots because Windows7 wasn’t made to work 24/7, as Windows Server, but I’m having a problem:
The WD does not start with Windows, so I had to include a shortcut in the Windows startup, but after WD be working nothing more happens, and the station does not send data to the WD, so I have to manually start the wmr300decoder.exe and even after that, if I want (I do) to send data to wunderground, I have to manually also start the wunderground rapid fire.
I was thinking in doing a BAT file in Windows startup, with the timeout command between each app, but I also I’m thinking why this isn’t automated by the WD?
Anyone else have this problem?

All the Best,

Tete

HI
are you sure that short cut is point to the correct version/location of WD?

Hi,

Yes, completely sure!
It’s the same that I use for the program start working.

All the best,

Tete

what setting to run as administrator?
you could use the windows task scheduler
to start WD as admin
not sure if that works on windows 7
I do have a youtube video (see near the end of the list)

Yes, task scheduler startup works fine in W7.

Hi,

With the BAT file or the task scheduler, it works!
Problem solved by now.

Thanks,

Tete
