Multiple WD FTP causing computer to work hard

I had a crash of Weather Display the other day requiring me to reinstall an archived WDisplay Config file as the display had gone wonky and the WD failed to download data from the VP2 data store. Since then I have noticed I am getting multiple FTP programs in the system tray (I cannot see what they are tho’ when I click them) and the PC is working hard - a high % of CPU is being devoted to wd ftp!!

Any ideas?

WD version v10.37R build 81
Weather station type, Davis VP2
PC operating system Windows 10 on Dell Inspiron 2350 PC

Thanks for any advice!

John

see what shows in the ftplogfull.txt file , see if any errors

Thanks.

This is what I get - seems OK:

make sure to be using the customise internet and file creation setup
as there you can set the times to create and times to upload the needed files

i.e you can spread the upload times out…so as to avoid multiple programs running etc
also you are using a very old version of WD and the FTP program
