WD stopped receiving data from IP Data Logger

After a windows update at 3:51 AM on 1/11, WD stopped receiving data from the Davis Envoy IP data logger. I can ping the IP address, see the Envoy IP Data Logger on the network, and it has continued to send feeds to Wunderground, CWOP and Weather Link. I do not use WD to send data to the other networks, they are sent via Weather Link.
In settings, I have ticked the option to release the IP so that Weather Link can upload. The data coming from the logger just won’t get into WD. I’ve synced the time and the only error is a “error in socket connection”.
Using Build 62 (and just upgraded from 61 while testing), Windows 7 and again, using the Envoy for IP.

it might be being blocked
e.g by windows defender or similar

you can set WD to get the data from weatherlink.com too instead (1 minute updates…and if using the 2.0 weatherlink.com make sure to use the latest .zip update of WD)

I thought about virus protection…Norton. When WD loads, it extracts from the logger, but the data never reaches the WD program. I have a receiving data greenlight but no packet count in the main program screen, so something is just keeping it from loading.

you can set WD to debug mode
setup, advanced/misc
tick to log the raw data

and then see what shows under view, debug info

what is the barometer reading on the weather station?
what is the baro offset in WD?

VP data Date:= 11/1/2018
VP data Time:= 19:53
VP data Date:= 11/1/2018
VP data Time:= 19:54
VP data Date:= 11/1/2018
VP data Time:= 19:55
Weather station type number 31

I received 3 packets of real time info just now and it stopped…

Baro is 1027.5 in WD program screen. In offsets, it is 1033.4

the barometer offset in WD is an offset
not what you want the reading to be
set that to 0

Done. I am receiving regular packets now…at least it looks like it is counting up every few seconds.
Should I try and retrieve the data from the logger?

yes, you could try setting the date/time to get the data from
in the data logger setup
and then restart WD

We are back in business! Now I have another fire to put out… Thanks for the assistance.

Is the prog. redy you said you would send to me?
