.NET error when pinging the Davis IP data logger

I recently upgraded my network to include a Bitdefender Box 2. https://www.bitdefender.com/box/?cid=ppc|box|Google|Product This device takes over the functions of the ISP provided router and handles network security. Prior to installing Bitdefender Box I could ping the Davis IP data logger. Now I get a .NET error when I attempt to do that. I have attached the error. Turning off the Bitdefender firewall makes no difference. I see in the forums here that about a year and a half ago another user reported a similar issue but it was never resolved. I realize that without being able to duplicate my situation and reproduce this error the cause may never be determined but I thought I would report this just in case.

yes, it is hard to fix when it does not occur here
you can find the IP address of the Davis IP data logger with the weatherlink software anyway (this was just an easier way I thought)
