Wind direction problem
« on: December 17, 2017, 10:16:08 PM »
I have  inspeed wind speed and direction sensors and the hobbyboards Anemometer Controller Board. The wind speed works fine but the direction isnt working. The wind direction shows up on the maxim one wire viewer and the dallas one wire viewer in WD. I checked the direction sensor before it goes in to the hobbyboards control board and the voltage changes from .25 to 4.75v like I think it should depending on where its pointed. On the one wire viewer under a to d channel0=4.93  channel1=10.23  channel2=-.0002 ...In WD the direction just points north.  Any help or advice is appreciated.

you should be able to set the voltage thresholds to what is needed for each direction in the WD 1 wire reader

hi
which one are you  using,  as there are different  type of  inspeed  sensors..

l  am  using the 1st generation sensor, on the bottom of the  casing has a square sensor block

which is on a hobbyboards Anemometer Controller Board.  this is  working
using the lower voltage setting in the wd setting

just check to see if you need the setting for the higher voltage
the new type have a bottle shape casing the  specifications maybe slightly different
