Sorry if I am a bit slow on figuring this out.
Can someone please help me if my place was situated at -45.872630 170.343838 how would I enter this into the latitude and longitude of the Davis Vantage Vue console. Also what point of the compass do those minutes represent, i.e what does the -45.872630 equate to a N E S W and same for the 170.343838 what do I use for that.
-45.872630 = Latitude 45.872630 SOUTH (I don’t know how many decimals the VP will take, just use as many as you can)
170.343838 = Longitude 170.343838 EAST

I am going to remove a data logger out of a friend Vantage Vue as his partner will not be using it. I will be getting a vantage vue and will use the data logger but had to get those settings above because i will have to depower the console down completely to remove the logger and will then need to reset the unit back up.
I will have my weather station up and running again in the next week or 2 after my Oregon Scientific WMR968 decided to die after 13 years of service.
