Wanna get back up-and-running

Been down since e-Rice bailed with my money.
can anyone recommend a replacement web host? It’s going to take sometime to remember how to set everything up again as it’s been several years now. I’ve been maintaining my domain name with GoDaddy (www.goosebayweather.co). Any suggestions? Canadian-side preferred but I know that might be limited info as most users here are on the US side-of-things. Also, what are the required options a WD user should insist on in choosing a web host? Is every web host compatible with WD uploads? As a side note, I should mention that I have a Synology NAS. From what I understand, according to this, my NAS can be used as a web host:

Update: Not a good idea to put my NAS online.

Found this Canadian Web Host. Not sure what to look for to make sure it’s compatible with WD uploads.

Nothing but good reviews as far as I can see.

Be sure that the host offers free SSL certificates. That’s what you’ll need for your site to use the more secure https:// rather than plain old http://. Even though that’s not really necessary for most wx sites many browsers now will warn users when accessing “non secure” http:// sites. As time goes on those warnings are escalating so it’s better to be ahead of the curve and save your visitors from panicking.

One thing I learned the hard way during my hosting adventures after the e-rice collapse is that chasing the lowest price for hosting is a bad idea

Oh, and most webhosting review sites are a scam, one that has some integrity is http://www.webhostingtalk.com/

once you get a host, you could check out meteotemplate.com

OK. Just checked with the Chatline on HostPapa and they said an SSL Certificate with Let

Just recently switched to https://archhosting.net/website-hosting Very reasonable pricing and free SSL
