Davis Wireless & Flat Roof in the Rain

Does anybody have experience using a wireless Davis Vantage Pro2 over a flat roof? I have a flat roof, and am currently planning to mount at least an anemometer transmitter above it, with the flat roof between the transmitter and the console. When it rains heavily, it takes a while for the accumulated water to drain off the roof, so at the most interesting times there will likely be a layer of water between the transmitter and the console, and I am concerned this might block reception.

Thanks;
Steve

What is the distance between the transmitter and console?

In the range of 10 to 20 feet. Probably closer to 15 feet. Vertically it is about 10-12 feet and horizontally I would guess about 5-7 feet.

That close I think there’s a good chance of it working OK. Should be enough indirect signal.
