some questions about a honeywell te831w-2 that I just got

1st off I got a great big bargain at the GoodWill store today  I got this Honeywell TE831W-2 weather station. Complete, brand spanking new in the box, never opened (other then the GoodWill employee to inspect it and close it up) still wraped up in the bubble warp and the plastic display overlay on the screen of the base station for $12.99. What a steal.
Anyways I did some tests on my work bench tonight. Everything works just fine except for setting up the wind direction and calibrating it to north, wind speed and wind chill. Right now the wind speed and direction remote are mounted on a free standing shelf in my work shop. Right now it is to cold, to windy, to icy to go out and set the outside parts of the weather station up.

Aligning
This procedure must be performed after main unit has been powered and all remote weather sensors were received
successfully.

Thanks Rich for the info. The manual wasn’t very clear on the procedures.
