IP Camera
« on: July 14, 2016, 11:09:28 AM »
We have at long last got an IP camera to run with WDL but my initial attempts to get it working have failed. The camera is working locally with the PC and I have a cheapo USB camera working fine with WDL.

IP cameras do not appear to be covered in the manual not amongst Brian's excellent videos.

Are you looking to use the IP cam with Weather Display (WD) or Weather Display Live (WDL)?
If it's WD then open the Webcamcapture program and you'll find there's an IP cam tab where you need to put the link to the image from your cam. This will be the local IP address plus the link to the jpg image. Without knowing the camera you have I can't help further as the links are different for different makes.

Try a search on here for you IP cam make and you may find the details.
