Multi-able Meters - http://www.scientificsales.co.nz

Hi all, just customized a WDL page for a customer who we are trialling out on a vineyard, we are connecting multi-able sensors using the La Crosse WS7000KIT_B wireless system.

Thoughts and suggestions welcome. Just to note the the gauges aren’t working because I’m running a wired system.

WDL very flexible!!! well done!!
Cheers Craig

Pretty cool. Would be neat to see what it looks like with everything hooked up.

One comment is that your round dials on the right are off the page. You can normally get more room by making the temp gauges a tad bit smaller and shifting them over so it all fits.

Thanks for the comment… hmm interesting, when flash is loading i can see the outline of the 500x400 loading, once loaded it appears to load the dials up ok and looks normal.
What resoluation are you running?

yeap… will be taking out the file and loading it on next week, they have no internet setup at the mo… so one going i will create a sub folder on my site and upload the data then.

how does that look??

Hey that looks great! Can’t wait to see it with real data!

Nothing is cut off now. Looks great.

Q: why aren’t you using the new version 3.02?

I installed version 3.01 and got emails from users that it flickered at the start, happened to myself so went back to 2.01. So any suggestions?

Craig

Do you have the correct version of Flash installed for v3? If you check the docs there are some extra HTML files that will check the version you have and re-direct you to download it if you don’t have it.

It really sounds like you do have an old version as that is one of the main differences between v2 and v3. Try clicking on http://www.jbest.net/weather/flash/flashtest.html which will tell you whether you do or not. As Chris says, I’ve provided additional files in the download package so you can make sure your visitors do have the latest version, or you may wish to choose to redirect them to an older version of WDL instead.
