I try to import solar data with the new way in WD to meteotemplate, but I get some wrong data with the avg solar (solar data at night #-o )
My vantagelog seems to by good.
the export routine uses the data file for the solar data and not the vantagelog
but you could try converting the vantagelog to solar data file
via action, convert WD logfiles to data files (convert solar log to solar graph)
Is anyone else experiencing a problem with the Partner Station block? I have only one partner (my son) so cannot check against another Weatherunderground site. All his readings read 0, but if I go to the WU page it is recording there perfectly. Perhaps a change at WU? Or just a local glitch?
However I do want to say that this does not mean I will no longer participate on this forum and no longer watch this thread. I will and in fact in some cases it would be more appropriate to use this thread.
Given I do not have/use WD myself, if your question is not really related to MT as such but rather some problem with WD (setting up MT updates, exporting logs etc.) it would be better to ask here because such question is likely to be better answered by Brian.
I am having problems getting my google maps to show up over the past few months, I have tried setting up a new API key on several occasions and today I have generated yet another key (and deleted the old ones on the API dashboard). I have tried various combinations of .philsweather.co.uk/ with the dot at the start and without, putting meteotemplate/ after the / each time I have copied and pasted the new api code direct from google to the text document in the install folder, uploaded and checked that it is showing the correct code in the main set up page, but I STILL get the error message that google maps didn’t load correctly and to check the Java script console for details. How do I look at the javascript console? or can anyone help me solve the problem.
Here’s a link to a page that needs the map http://www.philsweather.co.uk/meteotemplate/plugins/issTracker/index.php
Hi Phil,
did you run the Main settings page?
The way this works is that the data from Txt file is saved to the config upon saving the Main settings, this is what the template then uses. So just changing it in the text file will not work because it will not get copied over to the main settings file (config.php).
Hi,
yes I did see your comment in the Blog, as far as I remember they use a different data source, the plugin was created earlier, so it could be that its only included in one, otherwise Im sure I wouldnt omit it
