Arizona hit by Typhoon Tokage!

Kinda freaky…

Well sort of… The remnants of what once was Typhoon Tokage has meandered over the top of the the Pacific down into California and hit softly with a nice even rain most of the day here in Mesa, AZ.

As of 2:30pm this afternoon, we have had a whopping .41inches of rain (10.4mm) in a nice soaking rain that has lasted most of the day. Total rain for the month now exceeds .7in (17.8mm) which is not bad considering the year total is only 6.07in (154.2mm).

This is after all a DRY state… to go with the DRY HEAT we get during the summer time.

Actually, this just about begins the best time of the year in Arizona with cooler but no cold temps from now until April. Not that out chance at rain will increase much. We normally get more rain during our wet monsoon during the summer.
