Problems after upgrading to 2.4.0

Hi,

I upgraded to 2.4.0 today, and I see a big problem. I am no longer able to use IE10 (Win8). I have tried both the Metro version and desktop version, and both tells me that it doesn’t support HTML5 and canvases. But I have used it for a long time before the upgrade. I guess that it’s the check in gauges.js that writes this message?

It’s working fine with Crome and Safari, also on iPad. Can anybody help?

I think it will be your browser setting that has changed, if it has I really should write a faq for this as it seems to come up fairly often.

When you navigate to the gauges page, check the page compatibility icon at the right hand side of the URL bar (the broken page symbol). If this is a slightly darker blue than usual, click it and it should turn a lighter shade of blue. Once this has been done the page should load OK. This symbol shows that IE has switched to one of its fall-back modes of operation, clicking it restores the native mode.

Hi Mark,

Thank you. That was exactly the problem. NNow it’s working fine again
