Installing WD on linux VPS

Hi All,

Firstly, when it comes to linux, I am a complete noob so I thank you all in advance for your patience. I am currently using weather display on a windows PC, and i am using that to update my weather display live website.

I have a linux VPS, and was wondering how hard it would be to install weather display to look at a metar and upload information straight to WDL. I only have access to VPS via putty so the whole config would need to be done by command line.

I was wondering if this is at all possible prior to buying linux version and was also wondering how others have theirs configured. It isnt practical to have PC on 24/7 to update weather display live but am open to suggestions if others have any ideas?

Aidan

what does the VPS stand for?
also you do not need to purchase again (just email me the registration code shown)
the Linux download is a package file, that needs to be un packed (you can do that in a command line (try googling how to do that for a tar.gz )
