Once again, thanks, this is awesome work....also, the single lone tree looks the spitting image of the one on the farm!!! How uncanny (almost eerie!!)

That is my ESP at work...

Actually, the background is the same in both pictures.  The one with lone Tree in it, was done by a sillohet of a tree I got from somewhere else.  the image on the right, actually already had that tree and shrubs in it.

As for how to obtain, first you might want to let me know what size you want them to be.  I can make them most likely as small as about 150px to as large as .. 450px or so. Also since you want the outside to be transparent, is this for a light colored background or a dark.  I will then post a url to the images.

All you need is Time, Aptitude and Desire ... and you can build just about anything...

In that case your ESP is working nicely....

I'd like to use the images at the top of my web site, which has a dark background...I already had a go and cut and pasted one of the pics (I love the lone tree one!) and have used it as my AVATAR (?) on here now..looks cool... I see what you mean about it being transparent, do you think it would look better on a dark background (I am a graphics novice - so feel free to tell me I am wrong!)

With regards to sizes, I am happy to go on your suggestions!  #-o

The url download is a zip file with sizes of   90x90 150x150  200x200 and 250x250 in both a light and dark background format.

The smaller ones dont have the undercircle of text since you can't read them that small anyway.

If you need other sizes... let me know.  It is always better to generate a new one with the correct size then attempt to change it after it is a gif.

I've been trying to make a logo like I've seen on this board, but to no avail. What I'm looking for is a logo for JLT Observatory Weather Station. The picture would be of the night time with stars and a telescope. I've attached a crude image to have something to work with. Thanks for your help.

Here is a first shot....

Used your own telescope in it.

My Bother-In-Law teaches astronomy in Las Vegas at a community college, and has a very large "portable" telescope that I've seen once.  Never got to see through it though.  Looks like a fun hobby that I need to stay away from.  I already don't have enough time.

That really looks spectacular!
Could you drop the weather station (I know I asked for it) but I could use it as my Astronomy logo as well. What size can you make it, I need something that I can add to my website. Thanks again...it really looks great.

No, if your not into this hobby then your probably better off staying out of it. It can get really expensive especially if you get into astrophotography. I've got way too many hobbies.

How about you location where the "Weather Station" was...

As for size... I can make them down to about 90x90 up to 4 - 5 feet in size.

Below is a transparent set with your location, a bezel'd edge.  The one on the top right would be avatar sized.
I can break then into individual images if you like them.

Wow, that really looks great!  You know, we're in the process of trying to purchase 147 acres that will become our Astronomy Villiage and that's where I will be building my new observatory at. Right now we don;t know if the deal will go through or not so could you remove the Lithia Springs, Ga. I sure would appreciate it. However, at some point in time I would like to add my location. I would be more than willing to pay for your services. Since you are so great at designing and creating these logos, our group will need something like this for our Astronomy Village, but right now we don't know exactly what we're going to call it. When we do, how much would you charge for coming up with a logo for our Astronomy Village?

For the time being, I can put the location of where your telescope currently sits if you want.  Changing the location is quite simple and only takes a couple minutes.  Actually it takes more time exporting the new images than making the title change.

Without a location it looks a bit blank.

As for doing a custom logo for your group, I'm not really in the business of doing graphics, but I'm sure we can come up with some arrangment.  I personally don't consider myself the artistic one in the family, my Daughter is much much better than I at freehand and actual graphical design, but I think she would get a kick helping out on something like that.   Just give me a PM or send me a note at tnet.services@gmail.com when your group is ready.

Okay, sounds good to me. How about putting my Url at the bottom ie http://www.jltobservatory.com? If that looks good then just put the 90x90,150x150 and the 300x300 gif files where I can download them. I don't think that I will need anything more. Thanks again for your help in this area. If you daughter is better than you, then watch out graphics world!
