2.01 Windunit not working correct?

Hi Guys,

It’s been ages that I’ve been updating the SteelSeries Gauges that I’m using on my website, so the following could be related to that. Yesterday I installed my Davis VP2 ISS on the roof of my house and everything is working smoothly. Changed the settings in Weather Display and within a minute the data from my Davis was showing on my website :-).

Last night I noticed the 2.0.1 upgrade from the SteelSeries Gauges and wanted to update them on my website and started a testrun. I’m not sure why but in the 2.0.1 version I notice that the windspeed in kmh is 3.6 times higher than in the 1.6.5 version I’ve been using so far. It seems 2.01-script is thinking that I’m uploading my CustumClientRaw.txt (CCR-file) in Windunit = meters per second than kilometers per second. I’ve checked the CCR-file and noticed that windunit is set to “kmh”. Below you find the URLs to the 1.6.5 and 2.0.1 version of my gauges. Both are using the same CCR-file as data. What am I doing wrong here?

1.6.5: http://www.westlandsweer.nl/gauges/gaugeswestland.htm

2.0.1: http://www.westlandsweer.nl/gaugess/gauges-ss.html

My CCR-file:

Not sure if you fixed something, but both the 1.6 and 2.0 pages are showing the same windspeed in km/h by default for me?

I have compared both of your links in different tabs next eachother and both show the same windspeed. One page is updating more frequent but windspeeds are the same.
The problem starts when clicking on the km/h radiobutton for wind.
Windspeed increases which is wrong.
Something wrong there in the settingsbox at the bottom, I think.

Haha, just read your reply on another pc, and you’re right, same wind speed on both pages. Haven’t changed anything, but see below

I think you’re right. The moment you change the wind speed in the settings box it breaks up the wind gauge.

Anyone experiencing the same?

My page is working fine when I choose different units for windspeed.
No problem.
The only difference is that I am using version 2.0.0 and yours is 2.0.1

I see the problem, your wind units are set to “kmh” the code is expecting “km/h”

I’ll have to look at fixing this tomorrow now, no time tonight.

Version 2.0.2 of the gauges is now available that fixes this issue.

Yes, works fine now!!

Thanks for the quick update.
