1 wire rainwise rain gauge

Can someone tell me how to make the 1 wire Rainwise rain gauge show on WD correctly.

In a menu somewhere I have ticked use a 0.25mm Dallas rain gauge.

The WD main page rain appears to increase by 0.1mm for each count of the Rainwise. The Rainwise rain gauge is 0.25mm tip but WD increases by 0.1mm each time.
It seems that the 1 wire application or WD is not saving the rain ROM ID as it’s gone after every restart.

Thanks Marion.

Hi,
I use the same rain gauge on my all 1-wire station.
I understand that you must enter and save rom ids in 1wirereader while WD is not running.
To do this find 1wirereader.exe in the WD folder and start it by double clicking it. Then enter your info and save it before restarting.
I have ticked “I am using a rain gauge 0.25mm” in Control Panel/Dallas 1 wire/Rain Gauge Type/Save.
My gauge increments correctly.
Hope this helps

Thanks for putting me right, I did as you said and the ROM ID is saved ok.
I also have an issue with the rain measurement on the main WD page.
The Rainwise outputs 0.25mm per tip which is 01. inches, however WD does not display enough decimal points in Metric. One decimal point is not enough, 2 decimal points would improve the Metric accuracy.
Thanks Marion…

note that the underlying rain value is stored to more than 1 decimal place

How do I get the rain measurement to show more than 1 decimal place in Metric on the main page? ie, 1.25mm
