Adding 3rd party stations
« on: April 05, 2012, 09:33:32 AM »
I've discovered a user (WD02560) at Pano Platres. I would like to add him to my Cyprus map at http://weather.cypenv.eu/map/maps.html but I seem to be too dumb to find out how.

Any hints, anyone? Thanks!

You would need to access your WML management panel
http://wxd.weather-watch.com/wml_sys/index.php

and click on map management and then select the Map from the drop down and select "Modify the Selected Map"

In the next page just click Save Changes then select stations

In the next page locate the station you want to add and move it from Available to Selected and then save...

Thanks, Bob. I found out what my problem was; the URL to the map was relative and not absolute and this did not allow me to add the new station. I hadn't noticed the warning!
