Wind Chills, not correct.

HI,

Noticed this the last couple of times we have had wind chill readings, here on the Gulf Coast.
Not a big concern, just wondering what may be causing this

Clear in the evening, becoming fair after midnight. Very cold. Low 28

Sorry if I am being thick here but Gulf Coast where and are those temps

Profile updated…sorry I’m new to this forum.

Hi GB,

That wind chill forecast was probably correct. The range includes the entire time from 7 PM through 8 AM. Probably, the temperature was forecast to still be in the upper 40’s or 50’s (F) early in the evening, and the wind chill then could certainly have been 47. By morning, with 28 degrees, it could easily be 22.

Hope that makes sense!
