findu.com receiving data - but not updating?

For some reason my CWOP data is not updating on findu.com. For example it says “last report from CW0672 received 1 second ago”. (This is after I run a test and check data on CWOP setup page). But, data doesn’t actually update? Temp stays stuck at 66F, but should read 64. Any ideas on settings I need to check on? Thank You.

is the data in WD update to date?
(i.e for the graph data)
also which version/build of WD?

My version is 10.37Q Build 58. Yes, my WD data shows accurate and up to date info and charting. Been working for quite a few years up til now!
Thank You.

have you updated via a full install update?

i.e to get the latest croncwop.exe version

no problems here:
http://www.findu.com/cgi-bin/wxpage.cgi?DW0000

The ‘croncwop.exe’ version I have is dated 11/8/2008. As a test I renamed the file I had, re-installed the full install and it gave me a new file (still dated 11/8/2008). I opened CWOP control panel switched it to off, closed everything, opened it back up, switched it to “on”, hit the TEST button. I checked my data and it updated! I thought all was now working. 10 minutes later I’m back to my old problem. CWOP indicates a recent upload, but the data is now stuck - i.e. the temperature is stuck on the 53 degree mark.

check the actual data being sent
in the registry
wdisplayftp.ini

[Aprs data send]
data=

is changing

I’ve attached two screen shots of the registry, the second after a “test” upload of data to CWOP. It changes slightly, but the temp data, etc isn’t updating.

is the graphs updating OK in WD?
also make sure you do not have set “create positionless”
in the setup, create aprs file

In addition, here the contents of the cwop log file:

CWOP data send start 7:32:05 PM 7/31/2011
APRS Connecting to: cwop.aprs.net
Aprs connected
sending pass command
user CW0672 pass -1 vers wx-display 10.37Q31
Sending the aprs data now

Disconnecting from the aprs server now

stuck on 53 degrees, etc

That is set to “NO”.

If it makes any difference, my weather display live page is updating correctly.
http://peterjii.homedns.org/weather/onlineweather.html

…also, yes, the graphs on the main screen are updating OK

I see it says you are using build 31?
I would use the latest full install version
try that instead

Hmm, my screen says Ver 10.37Q Build 58 at the top.
The program is running out of c:\wdisplay

I do see the 31 in the log, though…??

are you using the latest croncwop.exe version included in the full install?

So I updated to build 59, it updated the findu page with my current data, just one time. Then it stops.
The croncwop is dated 11/8/2008?

maybe check there is not another version of WD running , i.e that is 10.37 build 31

also, is there a 2wd.txt file in use or similar
ie a wdisplayftp2.ini in the registry, or similar?

Here’s my latest send…I don’t think the string is updating as mine shows 31 as well when I’ actually running 37Q59.

ops, my bad
31 refers to the station typoe (i.e Davis VP)
I will change that to the build number

its strange that for Peterjii the data updates once, on start up
but then not again

Peterjii, when WD is running (i.e live) are you sure the graphs are updating?
make sure you do not have set to share the data files
in the setup, advaneced/misc setup
and are there any errors under view, program event log?

Looks good.
