Hello, with the version 10.37Q Build 08, the extraction of the history data of the WRM200 is extremely slow.
I have reinstalled the 10.37Q Build 00
this is because Meerkat wanted the changes made to the routine
(less communication rate with the station, slows it down but leads to less data errors)
see that thread
did you have any data errors with the download before?
I have seen, but now is too slow.
There is some duplicated records, and sometimes the download stops prematurely.
For now I continue to use the old version.
I have been working on the stop too early (try the latest version)
do you have any problem with the older version for the wmr200 download?
Thank you, tomorrow I will try the latest version.
With the 10.37Q Build 00 there are some duplicated records, and sometimes the download stops prematurely.
I tried the build 10 but is too slow. For downloading 22 hours of history data it takes 40 minutes, while with the build 00 8 minutes about.
thats because Meerkat got me to reduce the amount of times and frequency that WD requests new data from the WMr200 console
he said that was not good to be doing that and would lead to communication clashes and possible missed data and or data spikes
so that is what I have done
note that you will not be missing any live data during that download
are you not able to though leave WD running all the time?
Yes, I understand, but in my opinion now is too slow.
Furthermore, the download stops before all data are downloaded equally.
no, it isn’t possible
re the download stopping
make sure to use the latest version, as I have allowed more times to keep checking if the console is going to send any more history data
(after requesting for more data)
and then post here what shows in the wmr200history.txt file
Hi Brian
I still have some problem with spikes on some of my extra sensor and it dosn’t update my outdoor temp. I’ve got the same value when I extract history. I think the version 08 was the best and I didn’t save o copy
The extraction are too slow
Is there a chans I can get hold on the 08 version
Best regards
Mats
Hi Brian
I’m running version 10.37Q build 11
and I was wrong about build 08. It was build 07 that was the best one
Is it possible to get hold on that build?`
Best regards
Mats
where you guys on Meerkats thread to say that the data extraction was working OK ?
re does not update outdoor temperature: is that during the history data?
or?
do you have set to use an extra sensor for outdoor temperature?
I could add option to increase the polling rate to request new data from the WMR200 in the history data extraction
not sure why Meerkat has not come back to that thread…now that I am back from holiday…
Hi Brian
The outdoor temp are only get one value during the hole history extraction but I will do some more test but I still got some spikes
The spike shows up on my extra sensors. I have four extra sensors
best regards
Mats
does those extra temp spikes show up at the end of the history, when the live data that arrived during the history, gets added to the end?
as for the outdoor temperature updating from history data, what shows in the wmr200history.txt file?
I have added an option to get fast wmr200 history to the wmr200 data history now,
in a new .zip update, ready now
Hi Brian
The outdoor temp doesn`t show in the history window or the status field.
The spike shows up as you said in the end of the history extraction.
I will try the new zip
Best regards
Mats
