113 days no rain for Perth Western Asutralia

Thats right, just ticked over 113 days with no rain for us. Normally over the summer period we average 65mm or so, for thunderstorms and cyclone remnance from the North west of WA. but not this season. Perth officially has recorded 0.2mm http://www.bom.gov.au/weather/wa/observations/perth.shtml Tho most staions in and around Perth have recorded none. my personal weather station included http://www.tkup.net/liveweather

Heres hoping we get some soon

Auch, that is a long time without rain.
Mind you we had a few episodes of that last year. Had to buy water (we are on tank water) last year for the first time in 5yrs.

Bit different this year, http://www.lyndhurst-hill.info/rainbar3d.gif we had 843mm this year already(since 1st of jan). Now we have this cyclone coming this way, might be on top of us on Saturday. http://www.bom.gov.au/products/IDQ65002.shtml, appears to be some sort of maga storm. 200km winds in center I believe.

Hope it settles a bit before it decides to knock on the back door :-).

Hope you get some rain in Perth soon, same country so many contrasts. We are drowning in QLD, some rivers are 14 meters above their original level…

Thanks for report…
