I do a forecast at 07:00 and another at 19:00 and it seems as the 19:00 temps are alwats higher than the NWS while the 07:00 ones are usually more accurate than the NWS. Is this a “timing” issue or is there something else that I can do to adjust? At one time the evening forecast was right on track.

Has this been the case for a long time? Is it particular to any specific weather type?
I’m fairly close to you and regularly do 7 AM and 9 PM (plus a couple others). I haven’t checked lately to see how time of day affects things. In the past, on clear nights I have seen forecasts a bit too warm, but I largely addressed that in an update quite a while back.
It would be interesting to select comparisons, grouping specific times of day.
