“bump”

Do you have anything else running on the laptop at the same time?
Have you tried closing your firewall/AV program, make the changes in WD and restarting the firewall/AV?
What RAM is on laptop?

Hi,
it’s a netbook with xp and 1gig of ram.
only WD is running.

closed firewall and AV, same thing, as i hit “set”, it freeze.

and a new problem is that it does not upload the wx files properly.
http://www.info-mauritius.com/weather-wetter/wx3.html is france but it shows english, same as on wx2.html, what is the english version.

ah ok, this happen only when i update the internet manual. when it update the internet every 30min, it shows me the france version #-o

I’ve not tried to use a Netbook with WD but I would have thought that it’s a bit low powered for the application.
What is the RAM usage of WD normally, without trying to change any settings?

the ram is 1gig, what should be fine for WD.

all is working, only that it freeze when i hit the “set” button on advance internet settings.
no one knows? :frowning:

Normally 2Gb RAM is good for WD but 1Gb should work.
I’m out of suggestions, maybe an email or PM to Brian (Windy) to see if he has any ideas?

thanks, i been hoping he will jump in
so i should mail him directly?

stefan

Try updating to the latest version of WD and see if you still have the issue…

The latest version is 10.37Q Build 00 from last glance…

i updated before, but it did not change.

off topic:
