Hi Brian,
My current weather icon disappears after each screen image uploaded to my local directory…the only way to get it back is to close and restart, however the image disappears again after the next upload. I have noticed though that when the screen shot is being taken, the icon does appear briefly and is displayed on the saved image :?: :?:

must be some setting somewhere
email me your settings files
wdisplay.ini from c:\windows or c:\winnt
and
wdisplayftp.reg,from the databackup folder, after going action, back up registry entry now…

just for others to see the solution, it was that it was ticked, under input daily weather, use this icon as the main screen icon (i.e a manual override)
