Servers To CWOP No Longer Rotating

My station ID is AR692/NZ4O but I’m using the internet to
upload data.

I noticed a couple of days ago that the weather data from my VP 2 through my WD v10.29N b27 software
has not been uploading consistently every five minutes. I checked the servers
that I’m using and see that all day today I’ve only been uploading data
through the CORE-2 server only.

In my software I’m using

rotate.aprs.net in “Other server to use” box
first.aprs.net in “Server to rotate to” box,
second.aprs.net in “2nd Server to rotate to” box.

In the past using the rotate.aprs.net my WD software would rotate between the selected servers but the automatic rotating to the servers has stopped.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I’m not sure when all the server changes were made but you might want to consider updating to a current version of WD.

I’m using the latest version of the software.

I’m not sure that rotate.aprs.net is still in use. A note on the cwop news page, dated april 4,2009 indicates we should be using cwop.aprs.net.

I’m confused, Windows and Mac are up to 10.37N/L, are you on Linux?

I’m using XP Home. According to the Weather Display website the newest version of the software as of yesterday was 10.37N b27, which is what I’m currently using.

OK, so 10.29 was a typo, now I got it.

Sorry about that yes it was a typo, DOH!!!

Phew! Glad we got that sorted out

I believe Jim is correct, WD connects to cwop.aprs.net and that address handles the rotation to the downstream (upstream?) servers, the rotate.aprs.net address is no longer in use.
