I am running VVP on Windows and WD QT on Linux using TCP/IP virtual console. On Linux I am using remserial to manage the virtual serial port. I wonder if I have things setup right in VVP as the only message I see for activity is “Sent response for Wake Up Console.” When I start WD QT up the logger download just loops with these type of messages (I ran this way for 15 minutes with no changes):
tcp ip data arrived 299 0
tcp ip data arrived 0 0
re starting download, timer
restarting timer
Asking for archived data download
asking for archived data, TCP/IP
tcp ip data arrived 1 24
tcp ip data arrived 2 10
tcp ip data arrived 3 13
tcp ip data arrived 4 0
tcp ip data arrived 5 0
There is a possibility that remserial is the problem or WD. In addition WD QT does not pick up the barometer sync messages for CWOP. All I see are
Synced data OK
Doing vantage in now
Doing vantage in now
Normal baro = 1019.9 altimeter diff to add = -0.3
Synced data OK

I know WD QT picks this up when running from a serial port directly, both the baro and the history download. Any thoughts on approaches to debug where the problem could be at?
On Windows you can see that I have WD, WL and VPLive running just fine.
