I am unable to upload my website via the weather display program. I installed a third party FTP application call WS_FTP. I then uploaded all of the files in the web files directory. My site is up and running, but certain pages do not update. When I look at the Index.htm file on my machine it looks correct, but the uploaded file shows different dates than what I see on my machine.
Can anyone give me some pointers on what to try next?
I would like to get this up and going properly. Thank you.

Why are you not using the WD ftp instead?
Free hosting is very unlikely to work well for a frequently updating site like a weather one.
You should have a file called ftplogfull.txt, please post that on here so we can see what is happening.
I have not been able to get WD FTP to upload anything. I set it up just as the walkthrough wanted and the log shows it as logging on properly, but it would upload 0.0 MB worth of data every time.

thats the problem there
you need to set the ftp server to use as
ftp.oldhomesteadliveweather.com
instead of
ftp://oldhomesteadliveweather.com
in the connections setup in WD

Filenames are case sensitive, you have an upper case I in index.htm so your most recently updated page is http://www.oldhomesteadliveweather.com/Index.htm

That log indicates a failed login as a result of authentication, most likely the password…

Shows that it didn’t like your password. There’s a small chance it could be the username too, but I would make sure the password is correct first.

I changed the password and no change then i changed the username and still no luck whats up ??
You need to confirm/reset your FTP username/password with your web hosting service.
