Open file security warning

Hi All,
im use xp on wd pc every time a i upgrade the first time open file security warning box both on wd and ftp program is there a setting to set to stop this

Beau, have you tried shutting down WD, and closing the realtimeftp and WU uploaders before doing the upgrade.

if vista, then try turning of UAC

I don’t know what it looks like in Win XP.
This is what you get in Vista when you upgrade.
Just untick the checkbox.

If you have Vista Firewall issues then do the following:Conrol Panel .. Windows Firewall .... Change Settings ...... Exceptions [tab] ........ Add Program [button] .......... Browse [button] .. pick C:\Program Files\wdisplay\WeatherD.exe ............. Tick the "Weather Display" checkbox afterwards.
