Minimize Weatherlink to tray?

Hi

Is it possible to minimize Weaterhlink to tray (by the clock) ?

Best regards,

Henrik

Henrik,

A couple years ago (before WD) I used Firedaemon to do that and it worked well. Costs a few $$$, but that’s a good program.

Hi Jim

Thanks for your reply.

I found a software called Powermenu:

http://www.abstractpath.com/powermenu/

It does the job - but unfortunately not automatic - so I setup System Scheduler to do the job. (Right click, down arrow 9 times and enter)

Best regards,

Henrik

There are a # of programs out there to do it – one we use is “4T Tray Minimizer”
One caveat – don’t buy it believing they’re coming out with a new version – they’ve been promising a new version for 2 years now…

I’m not sure what you mean by “by the clock”. You can try StartWatch. It can automatically start WeatherLink, minimize it, and can also put it into bulletin mode too. It’s at my website on SoftWx.com. There is a small number of people who have reported that it won’t minimize on their system, and I’m not sure why that is. It works for most people, and has always worked for me. StartWatch’s startup features are freeware.

Hi Steve

“By the clock” - I mean the taskbar beside the win xp clock - see attahced pic

Im not sure Startwatch can do that? Because I dont think its a feature that is possible in Weatherlink?

Henrik

Ok, minimize to the tray. No StartWatch doesn’t do that. I think there are some programs out there that will do that though.
