My new self made weather site

Hi,

I’m from Varna, Bulgaria. There is my new weather info real time web page:

http://weatherinfo.hit.bg

All the needful software is self made. The weather station is WS2350;

Regards!

That’s good for a home written system. Most people would never think of starting something like that from scratch.

I just noticed a couple of small problems. ‘Windchild’ should be ‘Windchill’. There is a link to an image near the bottom of the page Снимка на станцията but the image seems to be missing.

verry good go on with it its a nice station the ws2350 i use it on my 2e home

Hi Admin,

Thank you for notice about my mistake with word “WindChill”. I have corrected it.

The missing link is to my home where is my weather station. I think it must work?! The link is to:

Soon I will make 6 months reports - when I have enough coollected data.

The picture of your station works now. I’m not sure why it didn’t before. That’s an interesting site for a weather station!

Yes, good adaptation to the terrain

Very original, NikoNikolov, looks good!

Ronald, your link misses an “r”, for those who are interested, it’s http://www.weerstationteraar.nl

Rgds,
Kees.

The additional information which I upload on my web site is a picture from my back yard surveillance system per 5 min.

Regards!

i have added my pages for Koh Chang Weather

www.i-sitekohchang.com/koh-chang-weather/forecast.html .

After few days my WEB site will celebrate 2 years. The new in my site is forecast information. It is interesting to see the difference between real data which I receive from weather station and the forecast information.

Regards!

I don’t think I have seem too many Bulgarian weather websites. Good job and happy second birthday!!

Thank you! You will be my guest on the next party

Hi,

The last news for my WEB site are - I store the data for many weather stations in SQL DataBase, the domain name is changed to bgtimes.com.

Everyone willing to have visualization of his meteo data similar to the one on this site and has a station WS2350 can do the following:

  1. Send me an email to [email protected] with short description of station’s location. He will be provided with an application as big as approximately 300k and will have to copy it in the installation directory of HeavyWeather.
  2. The measurements are recorded every minute locally at his PC. Every 5 min the data is being sent over the internet to the bgtimes.com server. If there is no internet connection at the time, the data will be stored locally until connection is restored.
  3. Every 30 min a tiny webpage is being updated with the latest meteo data received, a weekly report and a wind rose for the last 12 hours are being drawn. Six graphics every 2 hours.

The number of stations that bgtimes can handle in this way is restricted by the hardware equipment that I have as well as the maximum traffic of the hosting that I use.

There are a number of possible technical issues as the loss of power or internet connection that can interupt the data update.

It is very interesting for me, let see what will happend.

can’t reach that link Niko !

he nice site from far !

Now it seems - I can draw report like mine for every weather station with Heavy Weather software.

NorthItaly:
http://bgtimes.com/weather/IndexOtherItR.htm

Bulgaria.Sofia:
http://bgtimes.com/weather/IndexOtherSfX.htm

And three points air pressure graph report - one point in Italy, two in Bulgaria:
http://bgtimes.com/weather/Weather_files/AirPressMonth.jpg

And home automation with my self developed SCADA software, used weather information from my weather stations:

http://bgtimes.com/weather/NiSimEngl.htm

I added self made sensors and software to my weather station, now I show information about soil temperature in 2cm, 5cm, 10cm, 20cm, 90 cm:
