I’ve been setting up all day and last hour webcam videos in WD. I have chosen to also create flash movies, but every time mpegtoflash.exe starts to run, it crashes with the “… has encountered a problem and needs to close…” prompt. The wmv files are being created and uploaded just fine. Any ideas what the problem may be, and how I can fix it?
Have you got Windows media encoder 9 installed?
Yes, and it’s producing the wmv files just fine. It’s the mpeg to flash convertion that’s crashing.
I had this problem for about 3 months, never figured out what was causing it but as soon as i went over to server '03 and did a fresh install it all works smoothly now. Must be some lack of file somewhere along the line, have you tried a fresh install ?
