Snowfall Measurement More than you need to know

Look at these NOAA web pages for some examples of snowfall measurement.
http://www.crh.noaa.gov/dvn/tools/waterequiv.htm
http://www.crh.noaa.gov/den/coopsnow.html
http://www.crh.noaa.gov/lsx/coop/snowhelp.htm
http://www.crh.noaa.gov/techpapers/arp20/20-05.html

Now look at the readings below and tell me how to estimate
the amount of snow from the amount of water recorded (i.e. Liquid Equivalent/Snowfall Conversion.

Good luck estimating the amount of snow fall from precipitation amounts.
I think I will stick with a yard stick and forget it when I can

Try using the code tag, it usually helps. I cut and paste this from your post, it may well have come out better if it had been posted as code to start with. [code:1]STATION ELEV HIGH LOW PCPN SNOWFALL SNOW DEPTH

It is amazing! That is it. I edited the post. I tried the code tag on the original post but it did not change anything. The code tag worked better when I unchecked "Disable BBCode in this post".

Thank you nikoshepherd. As always you give good pointers.
