Control panel
--> Summary Image/Icons setup
----> tick show Davis VP forecast ticker on main screen.

Keep in mind that VP forecast needs a fair few hrs before it can do a prediction. I can really recommend WXSIM it is excellent in weather predictions.

Hope this helps.

Henk.

your station type only gives very basic forecast, eg rain/sunny/cloudy, as opposed to the verbose Davis forecast,which you can get via the icon type if you set the icon to be updated from the station
but you can set a downloaded noaa forecast to come through on the davis VP forecast

its not clear what that means
but, have you set up the 5 day forecast, from the downloaded noaa forecast, and does that work correctly

what I mean is, have you selected that file to use for the 5 day forecast system in WD
in the noaa download setup
so that when you click on the main icon on the WD main screen then you see the 5 day forecast screen
