I’ve looked but cannot see how to reduce the size of summary.gif. I need to make the overlay the same size as the background image so that the text appears crisp and sharp when the two are viewed together.
Can someone point me in the right direction, please?

try:
setup, advanced/misc, then main screen
then tick to enable customisation
then you should be able to resize it
then go back and click on save changes
John, use the Ctrl key with the mouse pointer only. Start on the bottom right and reduce overall size, Shift & mouse to move things.

that only works though if you have enabled to modify it under the setup, advanced/misc first
and to resize the whole thing, you just use the normal mouse arrow when the mouse is over the bottom right corner,
but to resize other things on that screen, then do what Graeme said…
