Wdisplay over APRS

Totally unexpected, I have the possibility to mount an automatic weather station during a year in a protected area in the Pyrennees, 2400 meter above sea in a national park. There are no other stations in that area since 1960. Near this location on 12 February 1956 was measured the officially ever seen lowest temperature in Spain: -32

You didn’t mention if cost was a consideration. How about using a satellite phone? Not sure how to keep the phone charged up, maybe some type of solar could be used? The only other idea I have is to use ham radio to transmit the data.

Yes, cost is a consideration since this is supported by an individual (me) and there are chances that the whole equipment could be lost by an Avalanche or even stolen.

Ham radio could be interesting, if there is the possibility to connect direct with the WS-3600 on place (but I’ve no clue how to do this). But thanks for the suggestion!
