Support Vaisala MAWS100 with WXT510, QMS101 sensors

Hi, I’m trying to get WD to talk with our Vaisala MAWS100 but there is some problems. The windspeed and winddir is not working. The stations is set to metric mode, the unit is situated in the Aland islands in Finland.

We are now saving a screendump of the Vaisala Yourview every 30s to the webserver, not so pretty but better the nothing

Is there any hope to get WD to talk properly with MAWS100?

Best regards

Bumping this one…

yes, WD should be working ok with the Maws100 station
there is a debug mode it can be put into , to see the raw data, and the problem

are you interested in doing that?

(sorry I missed this post)

yes please. How do I do that?

Hi
you should have a file called
rawavaisaladata.txt
where you have WD installed
post that here

Hi, it wasn’t much in that file, se attachment

rawavaisaladata.txt (26 Bytes)

does the data change?

Hi, yes the data changes. And Com i ok, see screendump.

so its just the windspeed that is not being picked up?
I will do some checking

Hi
me again
what shows in WD under view, WS2010/WS2500 data report?

Hi not so much there either, I’m posting the screen dump

hummm, I will add more debug code and let you know when ready to download

ok, thanx!

try a new .zip download, which will add more debug info to the ws2010/ws2500 data setup…let me know what shows there

Hi, now som new lines and screendumps

1.txt (686 Bytes)

2.txt (847 Bytes)

we are making progress
use this latest .zip update
http://www.weather-display.com/downloadfiles/WeatherD.zip
and let me know what shows up, etc

Hi! Looks better now, at least we have readings :  Strange values but I guess it’s maybe unit conversions.

this is the Yourview data from the same time

Hi
yes, I suspected that I will now have to fine tune the data processing
I will do that next

(and let me know what shows under view, ws2010/ws2500 data setup again)
