433mhz and possible interference

Hi all

This may have been done before, if so apologies.

I have been having the odd ‘glitch’ with my wireless signal from my temp/hygro sensors.

On some ‘googling’ it seems I have solved the problem, my neighbour has a nice new Jaguar which he parks in his nice electric doored garage… (you can see where I am going can’t you?)
Both his Jaguar remote keyfob and his garage door both use 433Mhz as the frequency, so, something to keep in mind for the future.

edit; he has contacted the builders and the supposedly can supply screening to the garage door but the jeyfob (probably no problem at all) is up to us.

I also run a WS2300 alongside my 1-wire setup so the family can see the temp and stuff without having to turn on the pc.

I have the same problem of the 433mhz signal being blitzed as my neighbour has a “Baby Monitor Video Cam”. As the sender for the weather station is at the bottom of the garden and the “Baby Monitor” is in the house I guess its closer to the console and blocks the signal.
