"Could not read archive page" error meaning ?
« on: November 18, 2007, 08:28:49 AM »
I'm running Virtual VP 1.1.4 registered

In the bottom status bar of VVP I see the following message:

08:59:48 Error - Could not read archive page 358

What doeas this mean ?

Another question about the "Davis VP data extraction" window that appear when your start WD. What is the "Clear data when finished" checkbox ? It's actually unticked, I wonder when it's required to enable this option.

Thanking in advance for any help about.

Mario

There is a bug in VirtualVP's handling of the cache it keeps of the console's archive. I'm currently working on a fix for it. This bug causes WD to download the whole archive when it starts up while connected through VirtualVP. I am hoping to have a new release of VirtualVP with a fix for this very soon.

Do not check that box in the WD download progress window. It will clear the console's archive. There is absolutely no benefit in doing that, but many disadvantages.
