Sorry if this has been discussed, I looked back a few pages and didn’t see it.
My computer crashed this week, on reboot when I start VP the reading of archived data hangs for 5 mins or more.
I tried renaming the old archive file and restarting but the same thing occurs.
Just wondering if there is anything else I can try??

I’m pretty sure I’ve found a fix for this problem in VirtualVP, but I was also in the middle of another change and I can’t release a new version until I get that completed too. But I’m pretty close now.
In the meantime, if you delay starting WD for a few minutes after VirtualVP starts, that may also keep the problem from happening.
The problem is that if WeatherDisplay starts soon after VirtualVP starts, then WeatherDisplay will download the entire archive contents (because of a bug in VirtualVP). If you give WD time it does eventually read it all in and process it, but it takes a while.

I reboot the commputer today after letting it run a full day and it was much faster today (less than a minute) to read the data.
