I was wondering if anyone has tried running two instances of Weather Display through Terminal Services on a Windows 2000 Advanced Server (Dual AMD Athlon XP 1800, 512 MB DDR, etc.), both instances using different stations on different com ports, and both being run by different users. Does anyone think there will be any problems doing so?
you can easily run 2 verisons of wd for the same user:
install to a different location, and create a file called 2wd.txt (i.e with notepad save a file called 2wd)
then it will be completly separate setup
I am doing this myself (2 weather stations)
maybe do that?
That is always a solution, Brian. I guess when the other unit comes I can try my method first, and if it doesn’t work, then I can always use your method, which you say works, and I also know it works because I have tried it before, just without another station hooked up to my computer.
