Scholastic Weather Watch Site

I was trying to get here on a PC that does not have the forum bookmarked.
I mistyped weather-watch.com into the URL box somehow, and got this site instead:

http://www.teacher.scholastic.com/activities/wwatch/

It appears to be a weather activities / lesson plans site directed at grade school teachers.

Well, after poking around on it, it is not as good as I initially thought,
but it still might be of use to elementary school teachers.

When you select lesson plans, you have to then search for the keyword “weather” to get a list of 93 weather related items.

Steve,
I stumbled across it by accident yesterday also. Yes, you are correct about it being a little lacking. But, it does serve a purpose for students to do self-exploration of weather. The pages are an easy read with short online quizzes. I am looking for suggestions for my site (including links). I’m a fifth grade teacher in Calif. and use it for classroom instruction and to encourage the exploration of math & sciences. If you have some time to look over my site, I’d appreciate any feedback (negative is fine!) you may have. www.glendoraweather.com

I like it,
Really nice and well organised. Like the tip of the day at the bottom.

Thanks Yves!
