I want to use a wap phone ,to view the data whenever i want.

How does i works with the wap?

Hello Mikymoon,
I’m very good at WAP, so if any questions you can throw it at me !!!
To start goto WAP, then click “create wap Dir” the tick both USA & Nokia formats, enter times and press TEST

Goto your phone enter the URL should be http://www.blah.com./~blah/wap/weather.wml

I forgot one thing.

I have more than one station,

waplocal.txt, in the folder webfiles, allows you to create your own one, if you tick custom wap
then
waplocal1.txt created index1.wml
waplocal1.txt creates index2.wml
up to 10

I have don it and it is Ok

But I want more then one station to use the WAP

and the file in the wap directory is always the same Index.wml
it is possible to change the name
pexample one weather station Index1.wml
other weather station Index2.wml

or to change the directory …/wap/mikymoon/index.wml
and the other …/wap/brian/index.wml

It is possible?

using the custom wap, waplocal1.txt should produce and upload index1.wml, etc

for other directories, you could use the general ftp setup in wd to do that for you

Ihave some problems,
The Wd software does everything OK but on my Nokia phone it shows an error.

I put the direction Ok
www.mallorcaviento.com/wap/index.wml
but it says that, that server it does not exist.
If I put the index.wml file to the root directory www.mallorcaviento.com
it works fine,
If i change the file to index1.wml even in the root directory, same error.

If I change the name of index.wml that error ocurs , (not conection)
Can anyone help me?

you most likely will need to make sure the wap cgi scripts are in that wap directory or are at least accesible from that directory…but i am no export and someone else might shed some light on this

I found It .
Brian was right , I missed a part of the scrip.
Now works really well.
