Saw one of these at a trade show about a year ago. They were making keys, giving them out to see if you could open a lock which you would win a prize.
Looked like a standard house key and took about a minute to make it. Pretty amazing to see it work.

That’s kind of mundane. If you could get fine enough resolution, and used a fractal generation program, you could make snow FLAKES, “No two are alike! Just think of the Christmas decorating posibilites, now you can have you very own ‘White Christmas’!..” 8)
