Is your WX data hitting the Internet?

About 4 years ago I put together a very simple web page to determine if
WX data was making it to the Internet (APRS-IS). The page history is for
the past 7 days. From a list you can click on your callsign to retrieve data
such as last heard on the Tier 2 Network. As you scroll down the page it
will show maps and other data about your station.

Yes, it is crude but it works

Comments?

Any particular reason why I wouldn’t just use FindU.com to see if it got there?

Its the listed public source for the data.

welcome to the forum Dick
good to see you here

You can, is the simple answer.

If you scroll down the page findU is listed when you click on your station call.
The is page is designed to show 1) Are you being heard on the APRS-IS at the
server level? 2) Are you being seen at findU?

Some stations connecting to Core Servers as Steve mentioned won’t be seen on
findU. That isn’t a complete disaster, cause not all outside client resources depend
entirely on findU.

Yes, apparently I’ve been away too long. Hope to answer some questions about
the internet and how the Tier 2 network works. I’m really not interested in wearing
amour plating. #-o
