Hello,

Any idea???

Thanks

:wink: :wink:

Do you have something checked such as dial up on the connection? I seems that if something is disconnected and that the ftp is trying to send I would check things such as DDE, the dial up connections, uploading something that isn’t there or that the time out settings are off.

It may be a version difference, but in a previous FTP problem thread the log was showing the user login to the ftp server;

Connecting to FTP server.
Connected.
220 Homestead Limited Use FTP Server Awaiting Login
USER [email protected]
331 User name ok, need password.
PASSWORD=****

In your log I don’t see it trying to login after it connects.

Logging onto FTP server…ftp.astrosurf.com
Connecting to FTP server.

Disconnected.
301: Interrupted.

Have you lost the login/password in your set up? Try connecting from the command prompt and see what happens.

Hi beruberu,

Looks like your WEB page is uploading now.
If not please answer the following questions.
What type of weather station, including any installed extra sensors do you have?
What version of WD are you using?
What version of the FTP are you using?
Are you using the FTP Passive Mode?
What is your operating system?
What are your PC specs (CPU speed, RAM, etc)
Are you using a desktop or laptop computer?
Are you using a screen saver?
Do you have anything unusual about your station configuration, e.g. WD is running on a USB serial port, etc.
When did this problem start? :?

it looks like your ftp /web server was not allowing/blocking a FTP connection…for what ever reason…

Passive Transfers (definition)
Normally, when you connect to an FTP site, the site establishes the data connection to your PC (the client). However, if the site allows passive transfers, you can have your PC establish the data connection.

It is recommended that you use passive mode for most transfers. Note that passive mode may be required for users who are behind some types of router-based firewalls or behind a gateway requiring passive transfers.
