Problem with ready data downloaded - header changed
« on: October 02, 2006, 08:37:38 AM »
Tom I noticed this morning that the header info on the ready data has changed format. This stopps WXSim from recognising the new ready data and it complains there is none!

Hello Stuart
I also saw this and have emailed Tom about it this weekend.

I used an old "header" and just cut/paste the new data and only change the date (and month).

I have another problem with comparing forcasts to actuals, not working with forcasts done in september..
When I do this i got an error.

Regards
Bo

Thanks!

I was out of town over the weekend and so hadn't noticed the problem.  If it's just the header it shouldn't be too hard to fix.  I'll get a fix posted as soon as possible.

Tom all I did was to edit in an old header and change the date. The rest of the data apeared to be OK and WXSim then created my forecast OK.

Hi everybody,

The fix is posted! :-)

Just go to www.wxsim.com and download the upgrade (WXSIMUPG.EXE) to install Version 11.2.3.  It will still read the old header format as well, in case you ever want to re-run an old forecast.

Thanks!

Tom
