This one corrects the ‘bad sky cover data’ problem Jim noted in another thread. This problem actually surfaced about three days ago, when the NWS apparently started (deliberately or not, I don’t know) putting incomplete MOS data for some sites in its files. It was only about 1% or less of the sites, but enough to run across if there were multiple wind shifts. WXSIM now ignores the non-standard MOS entries (which are missing certain data fields), and also won’t display this message box during auto run, even if bad sky cover data does appear (WXSIM just calls it partly cloudy now in that case).

Tom, downloaded and did an auto forecast. Went through the forecast w/o the ‘bad sky cover’ message. The forecast is very close to the one I did earlier that did have errors.
